Hello after several years, I have finally started my blog! I say several years as it has been something I have wanted to do for a while yet I just did not do it because something else would come up or I just would rather spend my time doing something else. However I have always loved to write, as well as to read which was another thing I had gotten away from the last few years. What do Like to read? Well for the last few years, mostly online articles – which is great and you can often find out some great information online that you will not find anywhere else. Though I have found myself missing books and have started to read novels again, I know the e readers are catching on more and more – BUT – for me personally they are no substitute for a real physical book. I however have yet to use an item such as the Amazon Kindle (https://kindle.amazon.com/conditions_of_use,© 2011, Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates) or another similar device. Perhaps I would feel differently if I was to try one, though I doubt it. I am not knocking the Kindle or any other e reader, only saying that I prefer a physical book …. while they still exist anyways! I hope one day printed books are not obsolete, though if they are then yes I guess I would get an e reader as well but if that day ever comes / the e readers will be far cheaper than they are now. Anyways, I hope that you enjoy the blog. It is OK if you dislike the blog and disagree with the blog, make a comment. Its even cooler if you like and enjoy the blog which is what I am hoping for the most, though of course not everyone is going to like everything. I just want to have fun with this blog and I hope that you will have fun reading the blog. Just like Gene Simmons called Kiss’s music “Ear Candy”, I would call my blog word candy. It is meant to entertain, sometimes inform and to just be something different from the millions of other blogs online. This blog is not intended to be anything serious, though at times I may write about things of a more serious nature. I am just here to have fun, as well as spend some time posting and writing about various things and topics of interest. While I do not expect my blog to be taken seriously, I will do my best to take the postings which I make serious and as sincere as I can. I am not perfect and if I at times offend anyone or anything, I apologize in advance and say if you don’t like it then like Howard Stern has said “change the channel”.
